Vacancy - Quality Control Technician
The Angostura Group of Companies invites suitably qualified and highly motivated nationals of Trinidad and Tobago for the following positions at its subsidiary, Trinidad Bulk Traders Limited (TBTL) its Fuel Ethanol Plant located at Point Fortin.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical support to the Operations team on the daily operations of the plant w.r.t. Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Coordinate with the QC Supervisor regarding daily analytical tests’ parameters and results
Conduct daily Quality tests in the Wet Chemistry, Instruments and Environmental Labs
Perform ethanol sample testing on various analytical instruments
Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Chemistry, a minor in Analytical Chemistry would be an asset
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Computer Literacy with a proficiency in Microsoft Office
At least two years experience working in a similar process industry
Experience working in a ISO certified environment
